Sand Springs Home





The Sand Springs home was created as a home for orphans and widows by oilman Charles Page in 1908. The main building, erected in 1917, is now being prepared for demolition.

That's what happens when previous Boards neglect an Icon. It becomes too expensive to repair. I know that Board member Eric Stuckey did his best to come up with a way to save it but the deed restrictions prohibited most viable ideas.
