Nice job with your blog site. What are you going to do with your documentary? Film festivals? I am interested in your project, both as a local tulsa filmmaker and as a history buff. Keep up the good work!
It make me so sad to see the pictures of Lowell Elem. & Jr. High being demolished. I attended from kindergarten thru 9th grade. Have many happy memories from my days there. Graduated 9th grade in 1959 and went on to Central. Remember so many wonderful teachers, Lila Smoot was my favorite. Also remember Mr. Hunt, Ms. Curnutt (kindegarten), Mr. Moore, Ms. Hamilton, Ms. Ceretto and too many more to name.
Norma Ceretto will always be one of my fondest memories as a student in the Tulsa Public Schools in the 50's and 60's. What an amazing woman she was. A week does not go by that I do not think of her words of wisdom. I turned 60 years old a few weeks ago and I have never been more in awe of this wonderful lady as I am now. God Bless you Norma Ceretto...you gave so much more than you will ever know. You are definitely the most memorable person I have ever known...thank you
