The original Renberg's building was the trigger point for Tulsa’s 1921 Race Riot, America's deadliest race riot in the 20th century. In 1937 the store moved to this site, just down the block. The store burned in 1946 and was rebuilt at the same location. The ground floor is now a parking lot; the upstairs floors are used for storage.
